The Licence assignment section

An administrator can retain, or set aside, the new licences he or she purchases from the library linked to the platform, in particular so that he or she can manually assign them to teachers. These licences will not automatically appear in the library catalogue, and will only be available to the selected teachers. These teachers, in turn, can assign these licences to groups of students as mandatory readings, or put them back into circulation in the catalogue.

This licence assignment should not be confused with the reading assignment, which is done by a teacher to his or her studients.

The Licence assignment section home page includes the following elements:

• A list of licence orders placed on the bookstore linked to the platform.

• A search box, on the left above the list, for finding an order quickly by name or by number.

• A global actions menu, on the right above the list, for exporting the contents of the list to a file.

• A context-sensitive menu, to the right of each list item, which allows to take action on a particular order.

As an administrator, you can perform various actions linked to the licence assignments for your establishment.
