The Groups section

In the administration site, groups represent:

  • user categories: students, teachers, administrators;

  • subject groups usually found in every school.

There are various types of groups on the platform, including:

  • The Teachers group. This group includes all users having the teacher role in a given school.

  • The School groups. These are the student groups that you import at the start of the school year. All students of every teacher are added to these groups.

  • The Administrators group. Only users designated as administrators belong to this group. Administrators must be added manually by other administrators.

The Groups section home page includes the following elements:

  • A list of all the groups in your establishment, with their names linked to their detail page.

  • A search box, on the left above the list, for finding a group quickly by name or by type.

  • A global actions menu, on the right above the list, for exporting the contents of the list to a file.

  • A context-sensitive menu, to the right of each list item, which allows to take action on a particular group.

As an administrator, you can perform various actions on the groups of your establishment.
